The third album released by The Jesus Lizard, Liar arrived towards the end of 1992, going on to be their best-selling full-length, thanks in part to the single release of 'Puss' which was paired up with Nirvana's 'Oh The Guilt' for a split single in February 1993. The band are arguably at their tightest here, although you could never level the adjective 'commercial' at them.
