The compilation captures the early raw output of Ezurate, a notable early force in the mid-1990s Chicago underground black metal scene. It brings together their rare early demo and rehearsal recordings on vinyl for the first time, including material from their 1995 demo, 1995 rehearsals, and their 1997 demo like "Damnation (Army)," "Black Prayer," and "The Emperor of Evil Has Won".
