In 1911, in the town of Cuautla, a showdown between two opposing forces in the wild west took place. Igniting the beginning of a war that forever honored the story of a brave general. Ending in a dramatic battle to the end, the tiger of the south defines the legacy of a fierce warrior and the loyalty to his fatherland. A tribute to the infamous Mexican revolutionary, Emiliano Zapata, which combines VOLAHN's signature black metal with touches of traditional folkloric musical elements from the artist’s and subject’s shared heritage.
