From 1968 to 1981, Yves Montand deserted the stage and devoted himself entirely to cinema. But when, in September 1973, the coup d'etat in Chile led to the arrival in France of a large number of political refugees, he could not remain indifferent. It is in their favor that, faithful to his commitments to the left, Yves Montand returns to the stage of the Olympia on February 12, 1974, for a unique concert, broadcast live on the radio.
