Djrum - DJ-Kicks: DjRUM (EcoRecord Vinyl plus playing card)

A deep, unpredictable journey through the more experimental corners of electronic music. Djrum pulls together broken beats, intricate percussion, atmospheric textures, ambient passages, and restless club rhythms into a mix that constantly shifts without losing its flow. Moving between introspective and dancefloor-ready, it draws from jungle, techno, dubstep, and leftfield electronics while keeping things fluid and hard to pin down. Less a straightforward DJ mix than a carefully constructed trip through sound, with Djrum’s attention to detail and adventurous selections holding everything together.
DjRUM is one of the most revered DJs of his generation and also a
virtuoso musician and producer, but he’s a long, long way from what most
people would imagine when they see the words “DJ/producer”.
