Dead Moon - Defiance

Dead Moon's third album -- bursting into the 90s with Defiance -- a record that arrived when some fellow Pacific Northwest underground rockers were getting ready to be flung head first into the mainstream, but DM remained defiantly underground. Even through this third album, they were garage veterans with roots in the late 60s. Its amazing how raw, primoridal and true they were to their own style. Its like they got gnarlier as they went on rather than going pop. Defiance found Dead Moon digging just a bit deeper into the blues, while still laying out their trademark blend of garage rock, proto-punk and hard rock.
